About Ken

Ken retired to Hayward, in July, 2004, with his wife Sue and five cats. Ken had vacationed here for nearly 40 years and they purchased their home on Little Spider Lake in 1996. Ken spent forty years in the corrugated container industry, primarily in production and general management, and for 29 years was owner of Hunter Packaging Corporation in South Elgin, IL.



Retirement lasted about six months and he got antsy to do something useful. He studied and received his real estate sales license in February, 2005. Now he has the best of both worlds; working yet feeling like he is on vacation every day!

Ken received the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation and is currently working on certification as an Internet Professional (ePRO). The course is designed to make real estate professionals thrive in the world of online real estate, especially online marketing of properties.



Ken is active in the Hayward Lions and the Hayward Rod and Gun Club. Both he and Sue enjoy year-round outdoor activities - snowmobiling, fishing, playing golf and the whole Northwoods experience.
